Chapter 3: Mina Claims the Debt in Public

With the estate meeting down to hours before sale, Mina brings the archive into the room, refuses to be excluded, and exposes the hidden immigrant support ledger system in front of hostile witnesses. Dev publicly accuses her of entitlement and theft, but Mina answers by naming her mother’s married name, the family’s protective network, and the deeper debt the family has been trying to bury. In the end she claims the burden aloud, making her outsider status impossible to maintain while the dangerous older ledger remains missing.
